Job Description

A global Heat Treatment and Forgings company are looking to recruit a Machine Tool Fitter to join their highly successful team based in the Dudley area.

Annual Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 (DOE)
Weekly Shifts:  6-2pm Monday to Friday and 11-7.30pm Friday

JOB PURPOSE:
To improve the reliability of plant, equipment and condition of the buildings
and infrastructure

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To carry out planed and reactive maintenance on heavy plant, equipment and buildings
  • Mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery
  • To work proactively on improving plant reliability,
  • Carrying out planed maintenance schedules 
  • Help implementation and updating of CMMS.
  • To work in other departments when required.
  • Any other duties deemed to be required.
Qualification/Experience Required:
  • City and Guilds or similar in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 years or more working in a heavy industrial environment
